We bring you Belly Timber, ORGANIC Survival Bars.

Goit House Natural Foods' bakery is in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  Our property has been in the family for generations. The Goit family home and commercial bakery are amidst the countries best mountain bike trails, the rich Puget Sound, rivers for fishing salmon or kayaking, lakes for swimming and boating, and the glorious Cascade Mountain Range - a snowboarding paradise - and skiing of course!

Starting back in 1986 when Mary worked in her artist's space at Pike Place Market, she has cooked and baked with organic whole-food ingredients.  "Very few processed foods make their way into my childrens' mouths" - "I have always been an artist and now my medium is healthful ingredients - it's genetic!"

Mary's mom, Sally, first created the company's now signature granola back when she attended Western Washington University.  She and long-time friend Judy collaborated to perfect the recipe.  Mary and her sister Kim often baked the "family granola" and over the years made few changes: opting to change the wheatgerm to organic ground flax and the corn oil to organic Canola oil.

Just a few months after we started the business it was obvious we needed to make our Original Stout Granola mobile.

My husband Dave is a meat and potato guy, (elk meat preferred) so anything resembling a crumbly granola bar was not going to fly.  I wanted great texture, like a center-cut brownie with whole almonds, and I wanted unprecedented nutrition with whole food - and no high  fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils/trans fats, added supplements, refined sugars, or preservatives.  Our vision included environmental concerns like packaging,  carbon foot print, minimal waste, organic ingredients/local ingredients and so on.   The Belly Timber concept was created.  Dave and I tried a few inventions that were almost right but we were on our way to perfection!
